Biography

I was born and raised in Texas. My father was a petroleum engineer before retirement and my mother was a stay-at-home-mom. I jumped onto the stage as a dancer at the age of 3 and continued studying dance through college. I trained in piano and voice as well, but began acting at Martin High School in Arlington, TX. I earned the role of “Best Actress” at the Regional UIL One Act Play competition in Texas and I and my fellow cast members won 1st place at the State level. I was selected for the undergrad acting program at the prestigious Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. I graduated with my B.F.A. in Theater.

After graduation, I moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and apprenticed at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. I then toured with the Montana Shakespeare Company and moved back to Texas. Here I married my husband, Markus, after we met while performing together at the Dallas Theater Center. Markus and I moved to Los Angeles soon after getting married.

My first job in L.A. was as a background actor on “The Bold and The Beautiful”. I then was cast in “The Young and The Restless” with a small speaking role. Opportunities grew for me and I joined the cast of “Prison Break” where, as a hostess at a high-end restaurant, my character turned the lead, “Sara Callies” into the authorities after she broke out of jail. I also played “Dolores Clark”, the relentless reporter in the movie, “The Girl Who Believes in Miracles”. Recently I portrayed home-wrecker, “Candace Johnson”, in the Freeform Network’s hit new show, “Cruel Summer”.
